It is hard to quit smoking, but it is not impossible! A number of celebs proved that! In Parts I, II, III, IV, V and VI of our series of inspirational stories on Hollywood and Bollywood actors, you have discovered how they have driven tobacco away from their lives. This time we are going to tell you the story of Bollywood's handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan! We bet, if you’ve been charmed by his smirk so far, his li’l tale of embracing a smoke free life will also sweep you off your feet.

For Hrithik Roshan, who has been hooked to smoking for years, it was a book that did the trick! In his fifth attempt apparently, the 41- year-old actor finally gave up nicotine after reading British author Alan Carr’s famous motivational piece, Easy Way to Stop Smoking. Reports suggest that it has not been easy, but our real life Krrish did manage to achieve the feat! The father of two little boys, Hrehaan and Hridaan, apparently tried nicotine patches and other popular methods, researched a lot, but nothing really worked. Then things brightened up as he chanced upon this Alan Carr masterpiece that does not merely attempt to scare you to death by talking about cancer, but slowly transports you to a point, where you won’t want to smoke anymore!

“I came across this book Alan Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking, I ordered that book and the day I finished the book was the day I smoked my last ciggie," a beaming Duggu said in a press conference a few years back.

Actors like Hrithik certainly have an immensely demanding career to maintain — there’s pressure to perform and be at the top of the game. It’s never easy to give up a habit that seems like a temporary stress buster. However, if he can, so can you!
