When it comes to kicking the butt, even the rich and famous find it difficult to give up just as everyone else. The silver lining however lies in the old adage: Where there is a will, there is a way. No wonder, some of the top notch celebrities across the world, who had been a victim of chain smoking, succeeded in calling it quits, thus not letting tobacco get the better of them. This shows that if you are really resolute about nipping this bad habit, there are certainly many ways to do it. In our first from the series of inspirational stories on famous people who quit smoking, here’s a closer look at three Hollywood hot shots, who managed to win the battle against this deadly puff.
Charlize Theron There was apparently a point in this South African-American actress, model and producer’s life when she couldn’t do without three cigarette packs a day to handle stress. After numerous attempts to give up, Charlize Theron finally succeeded in kicking the butt with the help of hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapist Kerry Gaynor reportedly helped this Academy award winning star to bounce back to a healthy lifestyle. The Devil's Advocate star not only freed herself from smoking but became a crusader of healthy lifestyle by adopting Pilates and yoga.

Anthony Hopkins Hopkins, known for his stellar act in the 1991 Oscar-winning hit, The Silence of the Lambs, quit tobacco through self-motivation. The actor however candidly admitted in an interview that he still craves for a drag.
To shun smoking slips, Hopkins had reportedly relied on self-help books. Reports suggest that he trusted his friends who recommended him to read, ‘The Easy Way to Stop Smoking’ by author and anti-smoking advocate Allen Carr, which eventually did the trick. Jennifer Aniston Jennifer Aniston, the luminary of the famous television series, Friends and many Hollywood hits including Marley and Me, The Break-Up and Office Space, was a chain smoker. However, she has a healthy life now after bidding farewell to her long obsession for cigarettes. How? Well, loads of exercise, particularly yoga is what she credits this achievement to in several reports. Jen was apparently introduced to yoga by her instructor and friend, Mandy Ingber. In a video featuring a talk with the actress, she says, “It’s (yoga) one of the most fun workouts I’ve ever had... Well, this clearly shows that nothing is impossible only if you really want to change your life for good. Take inspiration from these stars to curb your nicotine craving, and transform your life for a better future.
